We are very excited that QuestBid is ready for private trial. There are two modes being supported currently. First of all we want to give you a sense of how the phone inquiry sounds like and that is what the demo mode is for. Just click the "Demo" on the main menu and you will be presented with a request form.
Besides the request text, this form will ask you to enter a number where the call will go to. You see, if we just send the call to the providers, you won’t get any idea how the call goes. So that is why you will be asked to enter a phone number in the demo mode. Rest assure there will not be any call made to provider in the demo mode. It will go to the phone number you specify.
If you do have a genuine request, be it a home improvement project, car repair service, sports training, house cleaning service etc, go ahead to register as a consumer and post a request. Now the real action will take place! The phone inquiry will go to the real providers! The only thing is that we have to approve your request before the call can go out. We don’t want any bogus or inappropriate request goes to the providers. We are dealing with real business here so everyone needs to play by the rule. See our Code of Conduct.
Once providers receive the phone inquiry, they have the option to speak to you or to follow up on the website. There is an “Incoming Inquiry” page to list the inquiry sent to them so they can follow up quickly. As for the consumer, You can check your request status by going to “My Request” and click on the “Open Inquiry” status link. See FAQ to see how to check status for detail.
